All AI-generated content is designed to be professional, accurate, and free from harmful, misleading, or deceptive material. We implement multiple safeguards before any content reaches an investor's inbox.

We are open about how our AI models generate outreach content, investor recommendations, and data insights. Users retain full visibility and control over every communication.

Human Oversight

AI augments, never replaces, human judgment. Founders review and approve all outreach before it is sent. Our platform is designed to keep humans firmly in the loop.

Privacy by Design

Content safety and data privacy go hand in hand. We never use personal data in ways that users haven't consented to, and we follow strict data minimization practices.

AI Content Governance

CapitalxAI employs a multi-layered content governance framework to ensure that every piece of AI-generated content meets our quality and safety standards:

  • Pre-generation filtering — Input prompts and data are screened to prevent the creation of harmful, inappropriate, or non-compliant content.
  • Real-time content analysis — AI outputs are evaluated in real time for tone, accuracy, professionalism, and regulatory compliance before being presented to the user.
  • Human review layer — All outreach messages require explicit user approval before being sent. Founders have full editing capabilities over every communication.

Prohibited Content & Use Cases

To maintain trust across our ecosystem, the following are strictly prohibited on the CapitalxAI platform:

  • False or misleading claims — Fabricating company metrics, financial data, traction, or team credentials in investor communications.
  • Spam and unsolicited bulk outreach — Mass messaging investors without personalization or relevance. Our system enforces intelligent rate limits and targeting standards.
  • Impersonation — Misrepresenting your identity, role, or affiliation with any organization.
  • Harassment or abusive content — Threatening, discriminatory, or hostile language directed at any individual or group.
  • Securities fraud or regulatory violations — Content that violates securities laws, makes unauthorized investment solicitations, or constitutes market manipulation.
  • Unauthorized data scraping — Attempting to extract, scrape, or misuse investor data beyond the platform's intended functionality.

Violations may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and, where required, referral to relevant authorities.


Data Integrity & Accuracy

Accurate data is foundational to responsible AI-powered fundraising. We uphold strict data quality standards:

  • Verified investor data — Our investor database is sourced from reputable, licensed, and publicly available data sources. Records are regularly validated and refreshed.
  • AI hallucination safeguards — We use grounded generation techniques to minimize fabricated information, and all AI outputs cite their data sources where applicable.
  • Data freshness — Investor profiles, contact details, and portfolio information are continuously updated to ensure accuracy at the point of outreach.
  • Error correction — Users and investors can report inaccuracies, which are investigated and corrected through our data quality pipeline.

Anti-Spam & Compliance

CapitalxAI is designed to facilitate meaningful, compliant investor outreach — not spam. Our compliance measures include:

  • Smart rate limiting — Automated controls prevent excessive outreach volume and ensure each communication is properly spaced and targeted.
  • CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance — All outreach includes proper identification, opt-out mechanisms, and honors unsubscribe requests in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Opt-out management — Investors who opt out of communications are immediately and permanently suppressed from future outreach by that sender.
  • Domain and sender reputation — We monitor sender reputation scores and provide guidance to maintain healthy email deliverability.
  • Compliance training — Our platform provides guidance and guardrails to help founders understand and follow best practices for professional investor communication.

Transparency in AI Recommendations

When our AI recommends investors, generates pitch content, or suggests outreach strategies, we believe in full transparency:

  • Explainable matching — Investor recommendations include reasoning for why a particular investor was suggested, based on sector alignment, stage fit, and portfolio analysis.
  • No hidden agendas — Our recommendation engine does not prioritize investors based on commercial relationships. Recommendations are driven entirely by relevance to the founder's profile.
  • Content attribution — AI-generated sections of outreach are clearly distinguishable, and founders always know what has been generated versus what they wrote.
  • Model limitations disclosure — We proactively communicate the limitations of our AI models and encourage users to apply their own expertise and judgment.

Reporting & Enforcement

We take violations of our content safety policies seriously. Our enforcement process is designed to be swift, fair, and transparent:

Report

Anyone can report content safety concerns by emailing safety@capitalxai.com or using the in-app reporting feature. All reports are treated confidentially.

Investigate

Our Trust & Safety team reviews each report within 24 hours. We gather evidence, assess context, and determine the severity of the violation.

Act

Depending on severity, actions range from content removal and warnings to temporary suspension or permanent account termination.

Appeal

Users may appeal enforcement decisions within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by a separate member of the team for objectivity.
